Getachew Mullu Kassa is currently a Senior Lecturer in the College of Health Sciences, Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. He is a PhD candidate in Reproductive Health Sciences at the Pan African University for Life and Earth Sciences Institute, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and holds a BSc in Nursing (2010) and MSc in Reproductive and Maternal Health Nursing (2013). His research interests focus on adolescent health, violence, infectious disease, maternal and newborn health, and population and fertility issues. He has published more than 30 research articles and has several experiences of presenting his research findings to inform policy makers.
