Dr. Hailemariam Ayalew

Dr. Hailemariam Ayalew is a currently working as an Irish Council Post-Doctoral Fellow and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Post-Doctoral Fellow at Trinity College Dublin, based at the International Maize and Wheat Center (CIMMYT), Ethiopia. Ayalew obtained his Ph.D. and MSc degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2016, EASST funded Ayalew to collaborate with CEGA affiliate Jeremy Magruder and PhD candidate John Loeser on "Distributional Effects of Trade Costs and Land Market Frictions: Evidence from Ethiopia."
