Dr. Damazo T. Kadengye

Dr. ​Damazo T. Kadengye, PhD, is an Associate Research Scientist at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC). Kadengye is a multidisciplinary researcher and Statistician with over 15 years of practice, consultancy and research experience in Educational Sciences and Public Health. He holds a PhD in Applied Statistics in Educational Sciences from the University of Leuven and a Master of Statistics with a specialization in Biostatistics from the University of Hasselt, Belgium. While at Berkeley, he worked on a project to address intimate partner violence to improve maternal health and pregnancy outcomes in Western Uganda through an enhanced couples’ antenatal care model.
