7th annual EaSST Summit

CEGA's 7th Annual EASST Summit was held in Kampala on July 6, 2018 at the Fairway Hotel & Spa. The summit, hosted by the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) in partnership with Makerere University, Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), and Busitema University provided a unique opportunity to hear about cutting-edge research being conducted by East African scholars and CEGA affiliates to measure the impacts of policies and programs related to health, education, agriculture and other topics of critical importance in East Africa. At the Summit, we also heard from policymakers regarding their need for evidence to inform decision-making in the region, discussed opportunities for scaling proven interventions, and identified meaningful opportunities for collaboration among participants.
