EASST Impact Evaluation Trainings

Makerere University, Uganda

EASST Fellows Kizito Omala, John Bosco Asiimwe, and Annet Adong held one of their Impact Evaluation Learning Series at the School of Social Sciences in June, 2016. The leading purpose  of  their Impact  Evaluation  Learning  Series  is  to  enhance  the understanding of  how  to  conduct  impact  evaluation  research  for  University  staff  and graduate students at top Universities in Uganda. The fellows held two other training's at Makerere: one at the School of Statistics in March, 2016 and the School of Economics in April, 2016.

Bahir Dar University,
​Ethiopia

EASST Fellows Dagim Belay and Hailemariam Ayalew held an Impact Evaluation Training at Bahir Dar University in July, 2017. Their training included the following impact evaluation methods: randomized control trial, difference-in -differences, regression discontinuity design, and matching.

African School of Economics, Benin

On December 12, 2016 EASST Fellows Constantine Manda and Kizito Omala provided training on Research Design as part of the second edition of the Summer Institute for Economic Research (SIER). Their training included two sessions on Impact Evaluation and two workshops on transparency.
